The 32nd edition of Run Rome The Marathon will take place on Sunday, March 14, 2027, starting at 8:30 a.m. from the Imperial Forums , with the Colosseum as a backdrop. Finishers+1: The 42.195 km route will pass through some of Rome's most iconic landmarks, offering participants a unique experience combining history and sport.
- Colosseum and Imperial Forums : starting and finishing points, symbols of the Eternal City.
- Circus Maximus : ancient Roman hippodrome, visible along the route.
- Piazza Venezia and Vittoriano : crossing historic squares and celebratory monuments.
- Lungotevere : a run along the Tiber River, with panoramic views.
- Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica : walk past Rome's religious and historical symbols.
- Trastevere : the route skirts the neighborhood, without entering the narrow alleys, for safety reasons and management of the Finishers.
